Swanson Oakville Merlot 2006, Napa Valley

This half size bottle helped Merlot to develop quicker nice ripe flavors.

Deep cherry red color.
On the nose rich ripe berries, menthol, licorice, oak, coffee.
On the palate dry, medium bodied, rounded, with soft tannins and acidity. Flavors of oak, pomegranate, very concentrated flavors of black cherries, raspberries.
Finish is surprisingly soft and short.
